Check MB P/N: 111-05235, 111-05236
X3189A (Original) and X3189B (VER2) MB FRUs can be mixed in the same chassis - you just need to ensure ONTAP version supports VER2 (in HWU) and if it is a FAS8300, you need to potentially add 2TB Flash Cache (if they have 2 x 1TB Flash Caches in Slots 6 and 7). If there is a "stock out" situation, you might be forced to mix versions in the chassis to satisfy SLAs.
Motherboard Controller,No MEM,No SAS,AFF-C400 X3226A For AFF-C400, ASA-C400 only - No PSUs, DIMMs, etc.
Check MB P/N: 111-05075, 111-05076
Controller,No MEM,No SAS,AFF-C400,VER2  X3226B For AFF-C400, ASA-C400 only - No PSUs, DIMMs, etc
Check MB P/N: 111-05229, 111-05230
X3226A (Original) and X3226B (VER2) MB FRUs can be mixed in the same chassis - you just need to ensure ONTAP version supports VER2 (in HWU). If there is a "stock out" situation, you might be forced to mix versions in the chassis to satisfy SLAs.
