Description

  • On systems with the BIOS version that include Post Package Repair capabilities, when a node panics and reboots(Takeover/Giveback) due to an uncorrectable memory error a PPR memory diagnostic is initiated. During this process, if PPR identifies a faulty memory segment, it will try to fix it. If this repair process is effective, there's no need for additional steps or component replacement.
  • This procedure describes how to check the results of a PPR test and determine what actions are needed.
