Applies to

Controller upgrade (head swap) from:
  • FAS2620 to FAS2720
  • FAS2650 to FAS2750

Issue

  • While attempting an in-chassis controller upgrade from either FAS2620 to FAS2720 or FAS2650 to FAS2750, the FAS2720 or FAS2750 node is unable to boot while the partner FAS2620 or FAS2650 controller is present in the other slot of the chassis
  • Boot will immediately fail with the following error:

This platform is not supported in this release.
The system will now halt
