Issue

The system was down and failed to boot, sitting at the loader prompt after a BIOS POST failure. The following error messages in the logs:
BIOS POST Failure(s) detected: PCIe device missing error detected.
PANIC: page fault (supervisor read data, page not present) on VA 0x80 cs: rip 0x20: 0xffffffff8074a3a4 rflags 0x10202
version: 9.12.1P8
Record 571: Device 8/0/0 (SW2-VS1-P40) missing
Record 572: Device 136/0/0 (SW2-VS0-P32) missing
