Stale error state for fans on NSM100 module cause errant fault LED

Issue

  • Amber fault LED in NSM100 module after reboot, reseat or replacement.
  • EMS warning:

ses.status.fanWarning:notice]: NS224NSM100 (S/N serial) shelf 0 on channel 0x cooling fan warning for Cooling element 1: not operating. This element is on the unknown location.

  • Output of system node run -node <node> -command storage show fault -v indicates one or more fan sensors as OK with FAIL
  • Example:
