Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • FAS8700 (ONTAP 9.12.1 and later)
  • FAS8300 (ONTAP 9.11.1P7 and later)

Issue

  • The output of SYSCONFIG -AC reports X3311A as X3315A in slot 6:

::> system node run -node <node> sysconfig -AC

sysconfig: slot 6 OK: X3315A: M.2 2TB NVMe Drive -> slot 6 should show X3311A instead of X3315A
sysconfig: slot 7 OK: X3311A: M.2 1TB NVMe Drive

  • The SYSCONFIG -A recognizes slot6 adapter as X3311A correctly:

::> system node run -node <node> sysconfig -a

    slot 6: Flash Cache NVMe
        Serial Number:      XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
        Part Number:        119-00329
        Hardware Revision:  D0
        Firmware Version:   NA01
        Firmware File:      X3311_S000PM9A3NVM
        Model Name:         X3311A
        Capacity:           1024 GB
        State:              ok
