SAS Expander has set the Chassis LED ON remains after PSU replacement even if reboot BMC

  • Chassis attention LED remains on after PSU replacement:

FRU LEDs status
FRU LED ID 1  = BMC Locate LED
FRU LED ID 2  = BMC System LED
FRU LED ID 3  = BMC Controller Attention LED
FRU LED ID 4  = BMC Controller Active LED
FRU LED ID 1 is off
FRU LED ID 2 is on. Set by Expander
FRU LED ID 3 is off
FRU LED ID 4 is on

  • PSU looks good after replacement:

/usr/local/bin/environ -show_all

  • Even if delete the service event then reboot BMC, or manually set the led off,  issue persists, and the service event raised again.
