Issue

  • 10G port does not come up
  • EMS reports that the installed SFP is not supported even though it is
Thu Mar 14 10:22:29 -0400 [node-01: kernel: netif.sfpNotSupported:error]: The SFP+ or QSFP+ module (Intel Corp       FTLX8574D3BCV-IT) installed in e3d is not supported with this network interface.
 
  • dmesg  reports the port does not come up because of an unsupported SFP
[770980] e3d: Link failed because an unqualified module was detected! - ixl_link_event:64:1:0:0:0:0
