Issue

  • The following events are reported by ONTAP:

[Node-1: intr: netif.linkDown:info]: Ethernet e0f: Link down, check cable.
[Node-1: vifmgr: vifmgr.portdown:notice]: A link down event was received on node Node-1, port e0f.

  • The NIC port is down:

::> system node run -node <node> -command sysconfig -a

e0f MAC Address:  00:a0:XX:XX:XX:XX (auto-unknown-fd-down)
