ONTAP SAN with Cisco no longer able to see new LUN

Issue

  • Newly created LUN not visible by the Hosts although added to correct igroup and paths exist
  • Many LUN may have missing paths and non symmetric paths for example a storage adapter vmhba see different number of paths to same LUN via each HBA port
  • Cisco Autozone feature is used on MDS switches with ESxi 6.7 and nfnic 4.0.0.87 / Qlogic qlnativefc 4.1.14.0
  • ESXi takes a very long time on rebooting during Datastore discovery
