Issue

  • EMS messaging:

nodeclst001-01: dsa_disc: ses.shelf.unsupportAllowErr:alert]: Unsupported disk shelf found on channel xx.

  • This may also result in repeated emails from AutoSupport notifications:

Message: ses.shelf.unsupportAllowErr: Unsupported disk shelf found on channel xx.

  • Multiple disks may report scsi errors in event log (EMS):

[node1: scsi_cmdblk_strthr_admin: scsi.cmd.checkCondition:debug]: Unknown device 0a.05.99: Check Condition: CDB 0x12: Sense Data SCSI:hardware error - (0x4 - 0x44 0x0 0x0)(0).)

  • Uprade Advisor will alert you if you have an unsupported IOM3 or IOM6 before upgrade to a version where support has been discontinued:
