Node takeover and battery sensors read not_available in BMC

Issue

  • Many sensors show not_available on BMC and node goes into takeover.
  • Node unresponsive to pinging.
  • Events logs:

Thu May 15 08:08:45 +0000 [Node: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.unread:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery state cannot be determined because the 'Bat Full Cap' sensor is unreadable. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.
Thu May 15 08:08:45 +0000 [Node: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.unreadHrs:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery state cannot be determined because the 'Bat Charge Curr' sensor is unreadable. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in in 24 hours.
