  • When a node is taking over its partner, the node must have the resources to service the activities of both nodes.
  • When the system is over utilized, the surviving node in takeover might show signs of latency up to getting unresponsive
  • Plan system performance that it would still be able to provide adequate service in case of a takeover scenario
