MDV volume cannot be deleted: This operation is not supported for the system volume

Issue

  • When attempting to delete an MDV_aud volume, the following error is seen:
cluster::> vol delete -vserver vserver -volume MDV_aud_xxxxxx
Error: command failed: This operation is not supported for the system volume "MDV_aud_xxxxxx".
  • It is also seen in "debug vreport show" command:
cluster::*> debug vreport show
