Issue

  • After an ONTAP upgrade system went into a boot loop with the following reported in the boot sequence:
[Node-01:netif.init.failed:ALERT]: Initialization of network interface e0a failed due to unexpected software error mlx5_core err=0xfffffff0:115
[Node-01:netif.init.failed:ALERT]: Initialization of network interface e0b failed due to unexpected software error mlx5_core err=0xfffffff0:115
 
  • In maintenance mode the ports e0a and e0b are missing from command output SYSCONFIG
