Incorrect port gets automatically set as Cluster port during Cluster Setup

Issue

  • During cluster setup the system keeps using port e2a and e4a as Cluster ports
    • X60132A Card is installed in slots 1 and 2, intended to be used as Host card
    • X60130A Card is installed in slots 3 and 4, intended to be used as NVMe Storage network and Cluster network connections
  • The desired port is not detected as cluster port, has to be set manually after booting ONTAP
  • An incorrect port is detected as cluster port and marked as HA Interconnect
  • Cabling has both desired ports connected to cluster switch, while the other ports are connected to data switch, as per the installation guide
