How to move an ONTAP image package from the cluster image repository to an external USB flash device

Description

  • ONTAP uses the cluster image command set for ANDU ONTAP upgrades
  • Boot device replacement and other action plans might require a copy of the ONTAP install image on a USB flash device
  • Typically, that image is obtained from the NetApp Support Site. When access to NSS is not possible to obtain the image, this article describes a method of retrieving the image from another operational node in the cluster.
