How do I get a replacement screw for a M2 device that is stripped or lost

Answer

  • We currently do not have a FRU for the screw used to secure a M2 device used for boot media replacements.
  • The screw needed is a "M2-0.40 x 3mm" - pan head which can be found by calling around to local computer or hardware stores
  • A #1 Phillips screwdriver is needed to prevent stripping or damage to the screw
