Issue

  • The Flash Cache card experiences a fatal error and goes offline.
  • The following events can be seen in the event logs:
Sat Apr 23 18:38:47 GMT [node1: fmm_main: callhome.flash.cache.failed:critical]: Call home for Flash Cache FAILED
Sat Apr 23 18:38:47 GMT [node1: virgo-adm-13: iomem.card.fail.internal:critical]: Caching module (model name X1974A-R6, serial number xxxxxxxxxx, part number 111-00903) in slot 13 has experienced a fatal internal error (0x4007) and is being taken offline.
Sat Apr 23 18:38:47 GMT [node1: fmm_main: fmm.domain.card.failure:error]: Flash Cache in slot 13 (model name X1974A-R6, serial number xxxxxxxxxx, part number 111-00903): Flash device failed and needs to be updated or repaired or replaced.
