  • The following message is seen in the boot sequence during an ONTAP Upgrade:
 Device B0/14/0 (SLOT-2) failed to train at max link width degraded
- Expected x8, actual x2
  • SP event log:

Record 810: Tue Jun 17 11:51:15.000000 2025 [SysFW.notice]: Device 52/0/0 (SLOT-1) failed to train at max link width - retraining
Record 811: Tue Jun 17 11:51:15.000000 2025 [SysFW.notice]:  - Expected x16, actual x8
