FAS3250 takeover disable by unsynchronized log

Issue

  • The following error message is displayed on the messages logs:

Sun Oct 11 12:26:33 KST [node4:cf.fsm.takeoverOfPartnerEnabled:notice]: Failover monitor: takeover of node3 enabled 
Sun Oct 11 12:28:09 KST [node4:cf.ic.xferTimedOut:error]: raid interconnect transfer timed out 
Sun Oct 11 12:28:10 KST [node4:cf.fsm.takeoverOfPartnerDisabled:notice]: Failover monitor: takeover of node3 disabled (unsynchronized log). 
Sun Oct 11 12:29:51 KST [node4:cf.ic.xferTimedOut:error]: raid interconnect transfer timed out 
Sun Oct 11 12:29:56 KST [node4:cf.fsm.takeoverOfPartnerEnabled:notice]: Failover monitor: takeover of node3 enabled 
Sun Oct 11 12:33:14 KST [node4:cf.ic.xferTimedOut:error]: raid interconnect transfer timed out

  • "cf status" shows

Example:

node4*> cf status
node3 is up.
node4 has disabled takeover by node3 (unsynchronized log)
RDMA Interconnect is up (Link 0 up, Link 1 up).

node3*> cf status
node4 is up, node4 disabled because of reason (unsynchronized log)
RDMA Interconnect is up (Link 0 up, Link 1 up).
