ESXi host lost access to some LUNs after upgrade to 6.7

Applies to

  • ESXi 6.5 and 6.7
  • CISCO UCS

Issue

  • ESXi host upgraded from 6.5 to 6.7
  • After upgrade some LUNs that are visible by other ESXi hosts (running 6.5) are not visible by newly upgraded host.
  • The LUNs with ID higher than 255 are not visible by newly upgraded host.
  • No recent changes have been made to NetApp cluster.
