The firmware of some disks does not automatically update to the bundled firmware after ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • After ONTAP upgrade, the firmware of some disks does not update to the bundled firmware.
  • However, the firmware of other disks model successfully updates to the bundled firmware.
  • According to the EMS log, automatic updates are attempted for the relevant disk, but they are not successful.
