Continuous Linux Host DMMP failovers with Oracle ASM, within an ONTAP FAS environment

Issue

The following symptoms are possible with the FAS SAN product:

  • Partner path traffic
  • Partner path misconfigured ASUP alerts
  • Performance impact

 

The following error messages is reported repeatedly in the host logs (/var/log/messages):
