Chassis temperature is too warm: IO1 200G SW DieTmp is critical high (127 C)

Issue

  • “CHASSIS OVER TEMPERATURE” alert triggered only on one node and have cleared within a minute.Below event are seen from ems event logs:

[?]  Mon Dec 16 16:52:34 -0500 [node1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisTemperature.warm:alert]: Chassis temperature is too warm: IO1 200G SW DieTmp is critical high (127 C).
[?]  Mon Dec 16 16:53:00 -0500 [Node1: monitor: monitor.globalStatus.critical:EMERGENCY]: Chassis temperature is too high.. 
[?]  Mon Dec 16 16:53:34 -0500 [Node1: env_mgr: callhome.chassis.hitemp:error]: Call home for CHASSIS OVER TEMPERATURE
[?]  Mon Dec 16 16:53:34 -0500 [Node1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisTemperature.ok:notice]: Chassis temperature is ok.

  • From SP logs: (SP-LATEST-SYSLOG) below events are seen:
