Issue

  • Port e0a/e0b link down/up when connected to even-numbered ports on the Cisco Catalyst 9300X-48X switch.
  • After the link down occurs, it takes over 10 minutes for the e0a/e0b links to transition to "up".
  • During the "link down" period, the port link LED is lit (green) as is the port link LED on the Cisco 9300X-48X switch port.
  • Cable replacement does not resolve the issue.
  • Storage controller motherboard replacement does not resolve the issue.
