Issue

  • When looking at network port show output, we can see flowcontrol-admin is set to none on all cluster ports, but some have flowcontrol-oper set to full:
cluster::*> net port show -ipspace Cluster -field flowcontrol-admin,flowcontrol-oper (network port show)
node       port flowcontrol-admin flowcontrol-oper
---------- ---- ----------------- ----------------
cluster-01 e0a none full
cluster-01 e1a none full
cluster-02 e0a none none
cluster-02 e1a none none
cluster-03 e0a none none
cluster-03 e1a none none
cluster-04 e0a none none
cluster-04 e1a none none
cluster-05 e0a none full
cluster-05 e1a none full
cluster-06 e0a none full
cluster-06 e1a none full
cluster-07 e0a none none
cluster-07 e1a none none
cluster-08 e0a none full
cluster-08 e1a none full
cluster-09 e0a none none
cluster-09 e1a none full
cluster-10 e0a none none
cluster-10 e1a none none
  • This can cause some packet discards on the cluster network:
vifmgr.cluscheck.droppedall:Total packet loss when pinging from cluster lif cluster-01_clus2 (node cluster-01) to cluster lif cluster-06_clus1 (node cluster-06)
