Issue

  • When checking Mediator Service shortly after install or update an error is reported:
journalctl -xeu ontap_mediator.service
ontap_mediator.service: Failed at step EXEC spawning /opt/netapp/lib/ontap_mediator/tools/otm_logs_fs.sh: Permission denied░
Subject: Process /opt/netapp/lib/ontap_mediator/tools/otm_logs_fs.sh could not be executed
  • Seconds later the service starts automatically without issue
