unable to delete\change\rehost volume from FSx

Issue

  • Facing issue with FSX Volumes, There is no snapmirror relationship however, unable to delete\change\rehost volume.
  • Destination volume delete fails with error: 

Cluster1_FSX::>volume delete -vserver test_vserver -volume test_vol

error:command failed: volume "test_vol" in vserver "test_vserver" is the destination or source endpoint of one or more snapmirror relationship. Before you can delete the volume, you must delete the relationships for which it is the destination endpoint, and release the source information for the relationships for which it is the source endpoint using "snapmirror release".
 

  • Source cluster doesnot show the relationship details as its deleted. 

Cluster1_SRC::>snapmirror list-destinations
no entries found

  • Fsx cluster shows no relationship details as relationship is cleaned up from CLI.

Cluster1_FSX::>snapmirror show 
no entries found

  • volume from source was deleted.
