Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • There is a node within the cluster peer that is unreachable from other nodes

Issue

  • The switch to which a node is connected is undergoing maintenance, causing the path to be disconnected.
  • The following events are periodically generated.
    • cpeer.xcm.update.warn
    • cpeer.xcm.addr.disc.warn
  • cluster peer health show -bypass-cache true shows an unreachable node.
