Answer

  • During intercluster network outages, scheduled SnapMirror operations continue to attempt transfers and show a "Transferring" status in the snapmirror show command, even after 8 retry attempts.

Path        Type  Path        State   Status         Progress  Healthy Updated

                                          Transferring   0B        false   08/05 02:00:30

  • Once the network is restored, SnapMirror automatically resumes transfers at the next scheduled interval.

  • No manual action is required to resume scheduled SnapMirror operations after recovery.
