VIRT  SMAS LUN can not be mounted as Datastore in vSphere

Issue

  • Newly created LUN which is protected within a SnapMirror Active Sync(SMAS) can not be mounted as new Datastore to VMware ESXi host
  • VMkernel logs shows SCSI errors:
    "ScsiDeviceIO: 4686: Cmd(0x45b9c2b6b1c0) 0x16, CmdSN 0x70e60b from world 0 to dev "naa.600a098038315141563f5a304e354b33" failed H:0x0 D:0x2 P:0x0 Valid sense data: 0x5 0x20 0x0"
