Unable to start a interrupted TDP transfer from an available checkpoint

ONTAP 8.2.5 (7mode) & earlier


  • When a TDP transfer fails midway leaving behind a checkpoint, further attempts to restart from the available checkpoint fails. There is either no progress made for a long time or the transfer starts off from the beginning.
  • This issue is  observed on the 7mode  secondary controller which is the source for the TDP relationship.
