Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • SnapMirror Active Sync (SM-AS)

Answer

  • This restriction exists because ONTAP 9.17.1 introduces NVMe SnapMirror Active Sync (SM-AS).
  • With this initial implementation, modifying a consistency group is not supported.
  • The statement in the manual explains this limitation.
  • This restriction applies to the ONTAP version, not to the hardware model.
