The SnapMirror throughput is slower than expected given the available bandwidth and RTT

Issue

  • 10Gb bandwidth with 120ms RTT network is used, but thoughput is 60MB/s.
  • The line quality is not bad, and the error packet rate is less than 0.1%. 
  • Packet trace shows that packets are not being logged in both directions. 
  • Routing for cluster management SVM is set for only default gateway.
  • Cluster management LIF and intercluster LIF belong to different subnets.
