SnapMirror reverse resync error - must match with the source volume in the SnapMirror relationship

Issue

  • When reverse resyncing data from DR back to Prod.
  • Snapmirror command fails with the following error.

CLUSTERPROD::> snapmirror resync -destination-path CLUSTERPROD_SVM:VOL_PROD -destination-path CLUSTERPROD_SVM:VOL_PROD -source-path CLUSTERDR_SVM:VOL_PROD

Error: command failed: Source CLUSTERDR_SVM:VOL_PROD must match with the source volume in the SnapMirror relationship.
