Issue

  • SnapMirror replication fails with the errors below or other network related errors:
CSM: Request was canceled because of a connection failure.
CSM: Operation referred to a non-existent session.
  • There is bandwidth limit allocated for SnapMirror
  • A device in the network enforcing this limit can drop SnapMirror packet when the limit is exceeded
  • Or the network device might not process the packets fast enough and they can be tail dropped
