Issue

  • SnapMirror update fails with:
    "Failed to create Snapshot copy snapmirror.<UUID>.<TimeStamp> on volume SVM:Volume.(CSM: Non-specific invalid argument.)"
  • The source cluster is MetroCluster
  • The failures started after a switchover or switchback
  • Manual update or resync is failing with the same error
