SMVDR resync fail with error saying vserver peer does not exist

Issue

  • SVMDR failover test is peroformed successfully
  • SVMDR failback completes successfully
  • During the resync to reestablish normal vserver replication, resync then fails with error stating the vserver peer does not exist
  • After checking the vserver peer show, a peer relationship is seen but the destination vserver is observed with .1 or .2 appended to the vserver name
