SM-BC primary access to CG fail on Site A when Site B is down and Mediator is up

Issue

  • The  LUN is inaccessible even when Site A is up and running.
  • Vmware logs show the following records for APD:
asesx48/esx-asesx48-2024-01-18--08.04-42311972/var/run/log/vobd.0:2023-12-14T22:28:04.286Z: [scsiCorrelator] 101732755849195us: [esx.problem.storage.redundancy.degraded] Path redundancy to storage device naa.600a0980383037372f3f495a306c744a degraded. Path vmhba1:C0:T37:L248 is down. Affected datastores: "VMFS12".

asesx48/esx-asesx48-2024-01-18--08.04-42311972/var/run/log/vobd.0:2023-12-14T22:30:01.913Z: [APDCorrelator] 101729681692525us: [vob.storage.apd.exit] Device or filesystem with identifier [naa.600a0980383037372f3f495a306c744a] has exited the All Paths Down state.
