  • ONTAP 9
  • S3 SnapMirror
  • Source bucket (ONTAP_S3) will become unavailable (for maintenance or decommission)
  • Destination bucket is also on ONTAP_S3

Issue

  • An S3 bucket which is protected with S3 Snapmirror in ONTAP cannot continue to be accessed from the source cluster
  • Clients need to continue having access to the S3 bucket data
