Issue

  • SnapMirror updates or initialization fails with:

smc.snapmir.init.fail:error]: Initialize from source volume 'SVMSource:vol1' to destination volume 'SVMDestination:vol1_dest' failed with error 'Transfer failed.(Replication operation request failed from Cluster Id: UUID, Node Id: UUID to Cluster Id: UUID, Node Id: UUID due to a network error(CSM: An operation did not complete within the specified timeout window.))

  • Followed by a Process dump of the Replication Engine:

rastrace_dump: rastrace.dump.saved:debug]: A RAS trace dump for module REPL instance 0 was stored in /etc/log/rastrace/REPL_0_20210321_04:23:39:257151.dmp.
