Is it possible to modify a dp-destination SVM's admin-status to up?

Answer

  • The admin status can be only running on the destination vserver if it’s not stopped manually as described on Replicating an entire SVM configuration(Step 5)
  • Once the destination vserver's admin-status is stopped, It cannot be changed to running again while it's a destination.

Additional Information

For SVM DR with -identity-preserve true, the destination SVM must be stopped as part of the SVM DR creation.
