Initializing TDP SnapMirror relationship displays "32-bit data error"

Issue

Attempting to initialize a TDP SnapMirror relationship fails with the following error message:

Error Message:
Snapmirror policy type:    A-sync Mirror
Snapmirror policy:         DPDefault
Relationship type:         TDP
Mirror Status:             Uninitialized
Healthy:                   False
Unhealthy Reason:          Transfer Failed
Transfer Error:            Source Volume [source IP:Vol name] Contains 32-bit data. Data transfer from a volume containing 32-bit data is not supported.
