Answer

  • The SnapLock Compliance Clock must be initialized on each node that hosts a SnapLock volume or SnapLock aggregate.
  • For SnapLock to interoperate with SnapMirror, the SnapLock Compliance Clock must be initialized on both the SnapMirror source and SnapMirror destination.
  • Initializing the Compliance Clock does not directly impact or disrupt other storage workloads.
