After deleting vserver peer and SVMs then re-create SVMs with same name, vserver peer creation for those SVMs from ONTAP System Manager fails

Issue

  • Vserver peer creation fails under the following circumstances.
  1. Delete an exsiting  vserver peer.
  2. Delete SVMs used for deleted vserver peer.
  3. Create SVMs with the same name of deleted SVMs.
  4. Create vserver peer using System Manager.
  • The following error is shown.

There are no permitted storage VMs. You can continue to perform peering by providing a valid remote storage VM name. However, you should accept the peering request from the remote cluster.
