After HA failover, NDMP backup for down node not running

Issue

  • NDMP jobs fail for the volumes that are owned by the node in takeover mode. TSM lists the error when trying  backup:

"ANR0984I Process 7898 for BACKUP NAS (DIFFERENTIAL) started in the BACKGROUND at 02:29:59 PM. (SESSION: 571752, PROCESS: 7898)"
"ANR1064I Differential backup of NAS node LONINNAU16N1, file system /vol/vol_Vol2, started as process 7898 by administrator JITEBOM. (SESSION: 571752, PROCESS: 7898)"
"ANR9024E There are no drives available. (SESSION: 571752, PROCESS: 7898)"
  • Unable to define the data mover at the TSM for all the volumes owned by the node in take-over mode.

Protect: WDC37L>define datamover example1 type=cluster_1 hladdress=192.168.xxx.xx failed lladdress=10000 userid=test password=XXXXXX dataformat=NetAppdump
ANR4728E Server connection to file server 192.168.xxx.xx failed. Please check the attributes of the file server specified during definition of the datamover.
