VM storage policy type changes after migrated from host to host

Issue

  • After migrating a Virtual Machine (VM) from one host to another host, and then selecting the target host, select the VMs tab, right-click on the VM then select Edit Settings.
  • Under Hard disk 1, the VM storage policy type changes from Thin Provision to Thick Provision Eager Zeroed, or vice-versa.
