Issue

  • Restore of a Snapshot from a SnapMirror Vault fails on System Manager with error message:

Failed to create a destination endpoint for the restore operation. Reason: Failed to identify aggregate on which to create volume <new volume name>. (Unable to find a suitable aggregate for volume "new volume name" in Vserver <Target Vserver>. Reason: No suitable storage can be found for the specified requirements. Aggregates not on the Vserver's aggregate list: <A list of aggregates> Aggregates not matching FabricPool requirements: <A list of aggregates>.)

  • Selected Create new Volume option
  • Restoring with the same parameters over the CLI works
