Issue

  • When SAS cable is disconnected, sas.cable.pulled event occurs but no error is displayed in DASHBOARD of System Manager.
[FAS2820-Node-01: pmcsas_admin_0: sas.port.down:debug]: SAS port "0a" went down.
[FAS2820-Node-01: pmcsas_admin_0: sas.cable.pulled:debug]: Cable attached to SAS port "0a" was pulled out.
 
  • SYSCONFIG -A shows system cable connection has transitioned from multi-path/Tri-path to single-path/multi-path HA.
[FAS2820-Node-01: svc_queue_thread: shelf.config.tompha:info]: System has transitioned to multi-path HA attached storage.
  • CLUSTER -> Hardware displays a SAS port icon that is only half gray, indicating that the connection is disconnected.
